  As if it were a fantasy, in Poor Things an imaginary and surprising world is discovered in which everything is possible. 
  The wonderful and amazing costumes, a Gothic scenery, with dreamlike shoots using a wide angle, increases the interest, if possible, of the viewer. A viewer who, from the beginning, cannot stop being surprised and laughing with some grotesque scenes, undoubtedly necessary in that peculiar world that recalls that of Mary Shelley.

  Nickel Boys is more than a film, it is a monument to those that the system erased. It avoids the pamphlet to show how racism is not just violence, but a machine that crushes souls. It’s not easy to watch, but its power lies in not letting you look away

  Although its leisurely pace can make it feel more contemplative than narrative, and that personally I don’t find pov shots appealing, its emotional impact is undeniable, and the cast is amazing!

  Sinceramente me esperaba otra cosa, y es que parece que en todo el documental la quieren poner de víctima y blanquear su imagen de una manera vergonzosa… cuando claramente se sabe que Rosa es una manipuladora de manual. Lo “guay” del documental es que te enseñan vídeos y fotos que nunca antes se habían visto, y sobre todo la primera entrevista de Rosa desde que esta en la cárcel.

  Recomiendo mejor los episodios de Crims (Crímenes) de Carles Porta sobre la guardia urbana en los que no se posicionan con nadie y solo cuentan las versiones de cada uno y del jurado.

  Probably one of the best Anne Hathaway’s performances in her career, she’s magnificent as Rebecca, everytime she shows up on screen you can’t keep your eyes off her. Anne and Thomasin McKenzie have the best chemistry together.

  And even already knowing how it would end, it kept me intrigued, with such a good soundtrack and elegant photography.

  In my opinion, so much better than the book.
