Speed Racer 2008
Why I haven't reviewed arguably my favorite "guilty pleasure cult following" movie idk yet but this movie is perfect in every way. Perfectly paced, a great mix between source material accuracy and true underlying serious tones, Speed Racer incapsulates the story of fighting the big system and overcoming the odds. A must watch for the eye candy, charismatic performances, beautiful storytelling, passionate score and true courage in the face of every criticism possible for a movie based on an anime.
