Aftersun 2022
One of the best films I've ever seen. Such a beautiful, insecure, complex and (ir)responsible relationship between father and daughter.
Magnificent cinematography. The silences make you reflect about scenes on the spot, I like that a lot. These days everything has to go fast, but not in this film. Seeing this you get the chance to really absorb it while viewing.
Aftersun made me very sad yet extremely at peace and calm. You know it's a good film when you don't feel the need to talk to anyone after seeing it, either about or unrelated to the film.
