The storyline was more similar to the 1992 Dracula than I anticipated. I hoped/thought/expected it would be more inspired by and additionally wanted more out of the story personally. The Brutalist 2024
So hard to rate this one….the first half was 4.5 stars and the second half was 3 stars. But if I give this entire film 4 stars I have to totally change my scale of rating which is truly my issue but why I need more than 5 stars, Letterboxd. Adrien Brody is genuinely astonishing, and Guy Pearce was the only one who could hold his own in scene with him. Stunning cinematography…and scoring…and how did they film this in 31 days!? Prob gonna bump up to 4 stars and adjust my scale rating after all.
