First experience of Pretty Woman and wow Julia Roberts really made such an impression at the beginning of her career. Such a powerhouse star vehicle of film, entirely due to Roberts because she is absolutely undeniable in her charm and prowess. And I usually don’t care for Richard Gere, but their chemistry is so palpable and deeply felt.

Just an enjoyable movie throughout, endlessly smiling. Definitely understand now why it is such a beloved classic.

Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story

Somehow binged this limited series in 2 days, partly due to the fascinating nature and execution of this crime story that I barely had any knowledge of.

Just about every single actor in this ensemble gives an amazing performance, Cooper Koch and Ari Graynor are my highlights. Episode 5 is a star vehicle for Koch’s absolute talent.

    The Elephant Man

    ★★★★★

There’s no other director that quite can possibly satisfy my cinephile mind and soul quite like David Lynch. The Elephant Man is perhaps one of his most conventional features, yet there are still signature Lynch elements scattered throughout.

The depth of human capacity (and equally depravity), is unveiled in this biopic. The spectrum of emotions one feels during the course of the film is quite the roller coaster, but by its conclusion you feel hopeful and inspired. A monumental achievement. …
