  Starts of strong and dwindles from there. Having read the book I did not care for the changes they made, particularly to Chani. I imagine if you haven’t read the book it’s a better experience.

  Haunting, fascinating film, insane how much of this influenced Star Wars while also being nothing like it. Would love to see something else like this from Lucas one day but know that will never happen.

  Was gonna try to write something eloquent, but instead I’m just going to say this: this is a perfect movie. Insane, absolutely insane, that this is a debut from the majority of the artistic team. Everyone I’ve shown this movie to has cried very hard. Jesus. Christ. This is good movie.
