    I started to think that this movie was going to be like an episode of Seinfeld. it was so absurd and silly.

    there weren't laughs. No bass. No commercials.

    I liked the performances, but was left confused and unimpressed.

    It felt like the filmmakers stole a bunch of material from different movies and the actors could feel it as they were acting.

    Mikey Madison as Anora does the heavy lifting in this psychological thrilling, dark comedic drama. Mark Eydelshteyn as Vanya Zakharov successfully achieves what his character needed to communicate as a disturbingly rebellious son of the hyper rich.

    Anora felt like a hyperbolic parable of adolescent mistakes, wins, failures, making stupid decisions, and figuring out how to learn from them or not. Add familial dynamics to that parable, and you have this amazing movie that deserves all its accolades.
