Cooper Raiff as Andrew is a presence to behold in this movie - a wonderful illustration of Gen Zs coming out of college, moving back home, trying to figure out life, and thinking that love should be easy. And when it’s not, it’s heartbreaking.

Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret. 2023
Sweet movie, does a nice job profiling an eleven year old and all the challenges that come with being a girl that age. But it almost feels like the audience for this is preteens because of the story’s simplicity and lack of depth. Reminds me of a time when I was that age and perhaps there’s value in recalling those memories, but it doesn’t compel you to think much else, and I couldn’t figure out the importance of the story, nor the significance of it’s setting in 1970s NJ.

Aftersun 2022
while i may have mostly watched this movie for the very attractive Paul mescal, Aftersun is a fantastic film. reminded me of my dad recording our family trips with his camcorder back in the early 2000s. one of those movies that leaves certain things ambiguous and open to interpretation, so great to watch and discuss with others!

Past Lives 2023
PHENOMENAL! A beautiful exploration of two people’s intertwined lives, the competing desires for home and the ambition that drives us away, and where life’s various decisions and non-decisions take us.
