This looked like it was going to own and it does. Fair play to Jude Law on embracing ageing out of being so pretty it distracted from him being a good actor, and fair play to Nick Hoult on embracing his natural heel unlikability.
Really boring until the last twenty minutes when it goes all black hawk down with loads of choppers and 50 cals and stuff. Maybe they should have made the whole thing like that rather than journalists because who cares
From all the reviews and what have you I expected this to be on some morvern callar (maybe the third worst film I’ve seen in the cinema) tip, but this was spectacular. Waterworks city from about forty minutes onwards
