The Menu 2022
I don’t know what it is, this film is nothing extremely special, yet the mixture of confusion, speculation, and giddiness I felt throughout made this very enjoyable.
I like the usage of title cards, the subtle and strained comedy, and the food itself. There’s a case to be made for the acting being kinda wonky, but I think it fits most of the characters very well.

Nosferatu 2024
It’s quite beautiful… but that’s about it. I’ll remember certain shots and Willem Dafoe and that mustache I guess. Also somehow saliva was the grossest liquid in this film??
Side note: jumpscares were done extremely well, none of them felt overly cheesy or unnecessary.
Side side note: As a Dracula enjoyer, this is an amazing retelling of the experience I had while reading it and I felt all the emotions Stoker conveyed through his words.
