Touching showcase of anxiety, depersonalisation and derealisation. The second part of the film, where it kind of loses structure and time for a blur of disturbing thought and irrational behavior fueled by anxious mania - Antonioni hit the nail on the head.
The portrayal of the characters current mental state through visuals and sound felt really unique and precise. The bleak industrial backdrop carries it's own value within the film, and adds additional opportunity for still relevant social commentary.
The film grows on you immensely while you watch it. The slow burn is really worth it tho.
