  The first half of the film is outstanding- stunning cinematography, set design, plus Adrien Brody and Guy Pearce are amazing. The second half didn’t hit the same way for me, but as a whole it’s still an impressive work.

  The film worked, but it never hit exceptional for me. I added an additional 1/2 * for the use of all those live rats. Sooooo many rats!

  Timothée Chalamet blew me away as Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown. As someone who never really followed Dylan’s music, I was still completely pulled in by the intensity and authenticity Chalamet brought to the role. The live performances were electric and really made the film. That said, ACU was predictable in format and fell a little flat, but I still had a great time
