Spent the film guessing which street of paris was in every scene, and relating to the alienation felt from this city.
Absolute gem, sound mixing was on another level!!

Why bring non-Moroccan actors to play Moroccans when they can't speak the dialect fluently? All I see in the movie is Mariam Touzani trying to represent a culture that she doesn't know well, using the most westernized approaches possible, and just checking the boxes without any authenticity.

Watching this was a pure bless, a pure artistic vision, hakim is one of the few moroccan directors with a unique style and craft, watching the movie made me feel sad about the poor cinema industry in morocco and the opportunities given, meanwhile many great directors or filmmakers dont produce what they want or are underrated.
    Dommage.
