i wish they had touched on regrets they had on various writing/directing decisions (there were quite a few aspects of the show that aged terribly) but this was ultimately a beautiful tribute to a wonderful show

not ashamed to say that i initially wanted to watch this movie for aaron taylor johnson (my love for him knows no bounds) but i ended up becoming really excited for it! i loved the cinematography and the music so so much, and i think that it was a mostly great adaptation of the original. my only issue with it that i can think of is how big of a role aaron taylor johnson's character plays in it despite not really being important to the story. (sorry aaron.......) it was nasty and creepy and horrific and it fucking rocked.
