I went into this movie blind and boy was it a treat. The "dream" interpretation--according to which at least the first two-thirds of the movie is made up of the guilt- and/or drug-induced dreams of Dianne--is probably basically correct. I get a soupçon of the supernatural from two scenes where we see Dianne dead in bed: first as a decomposed corpse in the first half of the movie (when we are pretty clearly embedded in dreamland) and again after shooting…
