  it’s cute and I liked the message (although I found it somewhat stigmatized). nonetheless, the film drags WAYY too long; it did NOT need to be two hours long. also, every single character is underdeveloped and unlikeable.

  it also seems that it has become a norm since Sound of Freedom to have the creators of the film begging viewers to buy more tickets, it’s shameful really.

  Enjoyed it way more the second time around. Yes, it’s amazing, and probably the best visual animation I’ve ever seen, but not the perfect masterpiece everyone says it is I think. Clearly, there are pacing issues, a few sound design problems, and somewhat underwhelming scenes (the spider chase for example). Additionally, this movie feels less like a sequel and more like a bridge between the first and third movie, coming out next year. Nonetheless, it sets up all the pieces perfectly to grant Beyond the Spiderverse the opportunity to be a behemoth of a film.
