This is another one off Freya's list for me and oh my god am I glad she recommended it because I do not know how I've avoided this film for so long it's just perfect in every way.
The storyline is served so fittingly by Sandgren's cinematography, the way it captures the feeling and vibe of LA, keeping that 50s/60s idealistic Hollywood feel in a modern setting just fits with the conflict in jazz between innovation and tradition.
Wonderful to watch for the first time.
