if you’ve read or seen the 1992 bram stoker style dracula the first hour of this movie is almost an uncanny parallel with a bit more of a isolated atmosphere
so yes. there are sexual themes in the movie
the use of mostly practical affects is a sight for sore eyes and bill MASTERS freaky
so if you like gothic vampirism and don’t mind watching dracula fanfiction (albeit GOOD dracula fan fiction) this is the movie for you
also a general warning about themes of necrophiia and time period appropriate hate against romani people
