Although the plot is quite simple and generic, everything surrounding it is just so funny and clever that it really does not take that much away from this (in my eyes) pretty much a perfect high school comedy. The cinematography and visual gags are also top-notch.

Maybe it's a life situation thing or something because almost none of the events and interactions in this movie came to me as something unexpected, interesting or emotionally moving.
Despite of that I get why this movie seems to resonate so much with most of the users on this site. Maybe if I was in another place in my life it would had also with me.
