the storyline of power and control (domination) weaving into sex via the CEO and employee dynamic is TIRED. we have come far enough to play with power dynamics in a more tasteful way. we barely knew samuel as a character and why he’s so hellbent on exercising power thru sex. i was so ready to learn his backstory and it never happened.
i feel like this movie shot itself in the foot. good shots and great talent but it read as a bellesa studios project (no shade).
