Beautiful to look at. Makes me want to go to Italy asap. Matt Damon and Jude Law are also some pretty sights to see. I love the scenery, costumes, music. Good acting all around. I just wasn’t in love with the plot. It’s a way better version of Saltburn, but still not a plot I can ramble on and on about.

The Only Living Boy in New York 2017
Yes in fact I did watch this because Callum Turner looks angelic and TikTok edits of him dazzle me and I was hoping that watching it for him may surprise me with a hidden gem movie.
It didn’t. I thought “maybe I don’t need some thrilling or hilarious or saddening or enlightening plot to captivate me and I can just watch this movie about a couple affairs and find something special about it.” Nah. 🤷♀️
One star for Callum Turner!

I have got to stop expecting movies to be good just because they have good ratings on this app. I should’ve expected I wouldn’t like it because I’m not a fan of alien movies and it’s old so it was never going to be scary or shocking to me because of the effects. I’m glad most think it’s peak horror. Whatever tickles your pickle.

I didn’t expect the ending until the shot where Aaron puts the camera down and walks. That cinematographic choice was brilliant, as were others in the film.…
