great score, set designs, wardrobe, and phenomenal acting by penélope cruz and milena smit. the film had me hooked from start to finish and was so well written, well performed, and greatly executed the exploration of the subjects of motherhood, friendship, love, loss, family, and ancestry.

i really loved this!! alot better than i thought it would be. super entertaining, great set design, costumes, soundtrack, and great performances all around. i loved the edginess it had to it, and the vibe it gave off was very unique and campy compared to other live action disney movies. emma stone and emma thompson are sooo wonderful

fuck a breakup.. real heartbreak is waiting forever and looking forward to a movie and having it be a complete and utter disappointment:( this couldve been sooo much more! ik amy did what she could with the script and resources she was given and i applaud her for that i mean shes an amazing actress dont get me wrong. but man i was so hyped for this and was let down.
