Even more striking and fleshed out aesthetically than the first film. The costume and set design are top tier and it all feels extremely immersive and real.

I think certain plot points are a bit too rushed to feel as believable as the aesthetics- the rise of Paul within the fremen, Chani and Paul’s bond, and the fremen vs harkonnen scene at the end. I’ll also note that I haven’t read the book so some of that may be on purpose.

Overall realllly good.

Loved Jessica’s tattooed, dark, and delusional boy mom thing she has going on.
