Aesthetically beautiful and captivating, however the engagement to the story was minimal considering the narrative appeared lost in a sea of meaningless metaphors and uneassscarily dramatised violence. It was slightly distateful, perhaps that was the point, regardless is lacked lustre for me.

A suitable title in Christine’s strife to fly the nest and escape from her hometown of Sacremento, to a more idealistic setting of New York City. Throughout Saoirse Ronan delivers the extremities of adolescent emotion, providing a sense of nostalgia and humour for viewers.
