The 'Burbs 1989
This film is a Halloween classic for me. It's so much fun and never fails to make me laugh! All the men behave like silly little boys and yet despite their far-fetched ideas, they turn out to be right. Great commentary on idle American suburbia.

Rosemary's Baby 1968
Rosemary, get behind me girl!
This film was so beautiful and unsettling. My favourite scene was Rosemary's friends comforting her in the kitchen. It's such a heartbreaking moment and a surprisingly well-done representation of female friendship and solidarity. After being isolated and gaslit for so long, Rosemary is relieved to finally get some reassurance about what she's feeling but terrified that it means something might actually be wrong. I felt so much sympathy for her.
Shame that this film was made by such a piece of shit.
