  the pretentious poetry scenes were even more unbearable on the second watch. also i couldn’t stop thinking about how nonsensical it is to use a modern day interview with a character who was a kid during the war as a framing device because he wouldn’t have known most of the shit that happened throughout the film, don’t piss me off
