if i was being cynical id say this is an entirely non factual catholic propaganda movie that displays an active support for lgbtqia + people that’s simply never been there.
if i ignore that - it’s a beautifully shot movie with impeccable acting and a perfect orchestral score
bloody hell that one took the wind out me sails. what a wacko film - Demi Moore and Margaret Qualley were incredible and I really hope Demi gets some recognition at the Oscars (although that kind of feels ironic and hypocritical given the subject of the movie). wish the dialogue was better - think it was just the script for me that needed developing.
