The Alpinist 2021
This movie was incredible in so many ways. Although camera shy, Marc-Andre is dazzling to watch. He is so grounded and spirited, yet very masterful, which is rare to see. I loved seeing how he connected to the mountains in a spiritual sense, and every scene climbing with his partner was magical to watch. I don’t fully understand how they captured half of the footage with such clarity and precision. Viewers beware, you may experience vertigo when watching this movie…

This film made me feel things a film had never made me feel before. It made me almost painfully nostalgic for my childhood. Such a stunning film that at times makes you think you’re watching a Planet Earth episode. Jessica Chastain plays the most angelic, gentle mother.

Parasite 2019
I saw this twice in theaters, it’s that good. The non-genre aspect of this film makes it complex and feels like I’m consuming a true piece of art, in its highest form. Beautiful cinematography and establishment of setting. None of the characters are good or bad, which makes them all the more interesting. A modern day Shakespeare play.
