This movie reminded me of Crash in the sense that it appears to want to make some sort of commentary on what seems to be every societal issue imaginable but ultimately fails to do so because of how utterly shallow the characters, plot, and dialogue is written. At the same time, any commentary that can be extrapolated from this disaster tells us that either the writers are horribly racist, ableist, and sexist and just didn’t care, or that they’re utterly stupid…
It was funny, it was heartfelt, it was raw, it was all the feels. Everything was perfectly balanced and the timeline jumps made perfect sense. Florence and Andrew nailed it. Loved this one
