A heartwarming insight of growing up and learning your true self as a young woman. The complicated emotions and outbursts encapsulated in the most adorable, snuggly panda with perfect paws and flanks and I imagine the most dense cozy cuddles.
This film really made me appreciate the friends in my life and girlhood in general. Such giggles when the little panda started to dance and said things like ‘I decided to hustle the panda’ - iconic.

Emma Stone is miraculous in this unique and captivating film. Every costume was breathtaking, every scene was enticing and every hybrid animal was utterly loveable. Thoroughly enjoyed watching and seeing the costumes irl at the Barbican.
However viewing was a little tainted by consistent rustling popcorn from the audience members behind and overall film was 30 mins too long.
I really do wish that I lived in a world where I could wear 19th century dresses and knitted shawls just like Pugh in this film. But sadly, other than the desirable costumes, this film was rather disappointing.
Boring storyline, slow, no one was likeable, house looked cold and little girl was nasty. Overall was not engaged.
Despite not enjoying the film I still believe that Florence is great in everything.
Had to turn this off after 10 mins of watching. Found the chicken child irritating like an only child at school. Maybe if she had chubbier cheeks I’d have watched longer.
