    Went to a screening at Finsbury Park picturehouse, and afterwards there was a q&a with the director Gints Zilbalodis.

    It was a stunning audio and visual experience, that really drew me in the whole way through. The way the music and the sound evoked emotion throughout, driving the story, was beautiful. 

    The animals were so well designed and their mannerisms were the same. The cat really reminded me of my cat which probably explains my instant connection with this film. …

    Fuckkkk I turned this on to watch something cute and wholesome but cried throughout the whole thing pretty much. Probably because it’s that time of the month, but also because of the beautiful story telling.

    The main theme that stuck with me is grief. Letting go of the past, to appreciate the present and make way for change. The change is neutral, we don’t know really how good or bad it could be, all we can do is embrace it.…

    Came on my Netflix recommended and I needed an easy watch. Actually never seen it before! I do love Jim Carey but this one is like the epitome of millennial humour.

    As a zillennial I found it equal parts funny and equal parts cringe. Some of the jokes definitely haven’t aged well, and the fact it didn’t pass the bechdel test was extremely apparent/ noticeable.

    It’s a nice easy watch, with a cute message, and the love story is pretty standard but quite wholesome.

    It was weird and I couldn’t stop watching. Kinda gruesome in parts. I do find anything to do with possession quite funny like I can’t help but laugh when they start contorting their bodies weirdly 

    I love that we didn’t know whether they were dreaming or not at first, and loved how we got to see more and more of the count as we went on. 
    Great performances from the actors, really displayed their fear well, so raw.
