  this movie had the potential to be just slightly better than it was so it could be really good!! i feel like the situation or lack thereof with Doris and her friend group cheapened the storyline with her brother and mother.

  For someone with so many opinions about her mother, Doris did not express nearly as many of them as i wanted. Longer scenes with more dialogue in this film may have helped with this. I think its hard to depict a numb teenager in a way that shows emotion ( that makes no sense ), but i wanted more!
