  The Piano 1993

  Such a dumb movie. Great cinematography and score but fails everything else. Confusing character choices, almost no story, absolutely none of the characters were likable (the two men were abusive, manipulating and jerks and Ada was so blank and inattentive to her child that I didn’t even feel bad for her despite her circumstances). wtf was that ending?! Her “happy” ending is her living with the guy who blackmailed her for sex and that’s supposed to be satisfying.

  Pretty good. Solid action movie, it’s exactly what I expected but in a good way, did decently with incorporating ancient Egyptian myths and culture. Definitely does not pass the Bechtel test

  This was pretty good. The characters had good chemistry, the cgi was good, it had a good balance of action, build up and softer scenes. Literally only let down by the third act. Wtf was that ending 😭 I swear they got to the end and were like “we didn’t actually think through how to resolve any of this, crap what do we do”.

  Does not deserve the complete hate it is getting. Great CGI (with a few very minor exceptions), good action and pacing with interesting characters. Unfortunately there are some plot holes and the script/humour fell a bit flat. 7/10
