Cutie sweetie story about a not very cutie sweetie series of religious and political events. Felt true and deep and devastating without reading like romanticized tragedy porn. Had almost a light and whimsical air to it. I watched this with my parents and it feels like the perfect movie to watch with your parents.

TBH I loved this movie so fucking much. I knew only a little about it going in and it blew me out of the damn water. I am patently not a sci-fi girlie and the concept of a "multiverse movie" makes me yawn just at the MENTION of those words, but this gorgina pristine exploration of failure and missed chances and what-ifs all bundled into a wild run of universe hopping made me reconsider my anti-multiverse stance.
