love this filmic mosaic by Varda. it's overcrowded with visual, references, citations and re-enactments regarding the history of cinema, completely rambling but also very enjoyable to watch.

basically ‘The Worst Person in the World’ but the protagonist is real pain in the ass. u don't just make a character unlikeable i suppose, Thomas character has been slaughtered w/o any justification/background motive whatsoevr; didnt know what he wants (not only sexually but in his life), weak but arrogant, gay but etero, strong but w/o a vision of his life. the plot is too obvious. everything remain without a deep feeling. and i keep portraying Adèle Exarchopoulos as if shes in the ‘Blue Is the Warmest Colour’ 🥲 she deserves better writing!
