Bleed Out 2018
Would have been 4 stars if not for some of the comedic elements, which seemed cringe given the content. But given his background I get that it was likely a coping mechanism in a way. This was terrifying, not only bc of what happened, but bc of the continued and repeated failures of those sworn to do no harm, and their devastating impacts on this woman and her family’s lives.

Why is this movie almost 2 hours long?
Why did I have to wait sooooo long for the first kill?
Why is it set in 1978, with almost no 70s aesthetic?
Why did Netflix pay so much for music only to play the songs in 10 second clips (save for Wayward Son 😆)? It felt more like I was playing “Name That Tune” than watching a movie with a coherent soundtrack.
Why was everything so damn dark? And I mean to the point of the screen being nearly black. WTF am I supposed to be seeing?
