Saw this in Dolby vision and wow, what a perfect format for this stunning film. One of the most beautiful films of all time. Epic and extraordinary. I haven’t read the book so there were times where I didn’t really know what was going on but it didn’t matter because I was transported into that world completely. I now want to watch every film ever with Dolby technology.

Wow this film is so beautiful. Aliens, love, loss, language, translations, time, purpose. “If you could see your whole life from start to finish would you change things?” Amy Adams continues to be one of my favorite actors. “On The Nature of Daylight” is going to make me cry every time. Can’t believe it took me so long to watch this one.

Saw this film at the Hollywood Theater in Portland! My first time. A fun and entertaining accidental crime chase lesbian movie set in 1999. So awesome to see more queer representation! A little all over the place with random interludes of trippy 70’s-esque lava lamp visuals but all in all lighthearted fun, kind of reminded me of pinapple express in some ways with less violence and drugs. Loved the contents of the briefcase moment.

What a unique film! Almost like a double feature. The first storyline made me dizzy with its quick paced and blurred visuals, its scenes meant to feel distant with voiceovers narrating the scenes at hand, yet very visceral. “If memories could be canned, would they also have expiration dates? If so, I hope they last for centuries”

The second storyline was warmer, filled with more connection, so quirky and enchanting. With a soundtrack of predominantly three songs on repeat, I found myself hypnotized by this unlikely relationship unfolding. “Where do you want to go? Wherever you want to take me.”
