I saw so many things debating whether this movie “fell under male gaze” or whatever. It’s not a thing a movie does or doesn’t have, it’s a lens that is inevitable. I do not think the feminist critique of this movie will rely on male gaze as its damning feature.
Its real crime is how boring…
