  I'm a little disappointed that I've had multiple film professors say that this film is a tough watch to sit through bc i throughly enjoyed it. I can see where a lot of films were inspired from this. And some of the shot angles, lighting and blocking were so good I feel like there were some in there I hadn't seen in other films before. I can understand why this film is so influential and I'm glad I forced myself to watch it because I liked it, despite having low expectations of it from the beginning

  I wasnt sure how this was going to go from the start but it was a fun watch. Simple but effective camera shots, but makes sense considering the main character watches from the same window the whole film.
  I got suspicious of Doyle for being kind of nasty to Jeff in proving him "wrong" and how all the evidence proves the guy was innocent.
  But the best part was the nurse, Stella. The foreshadow in the beginning where she can tell something bad is gonna happen is gold. She's a lovely character and made it even more fun to watch
