A formative film. Love Melanie’s unhinged behaviour in pursuit of some guy and whatever was going on with Annie (my gay icon fr idc). Other notable mentions include the weird Brenner fam vibe and of course the BIRDS! The schoolyard scene and mad dash to the local diner might be my favourite film sequence ever, sealed with the absolutely chilling nursery rhyme singing. Niche favourite maybe but #1 in my heart
