  i haven’t stopped thinking about this movie for several days. it was absolutely beautiful and heart rending. it was very well acted and the timeline didn’t exactly matter so i was fine with the possibly broad jumps in years that took place without greater explanation. it was fine and didn’t disrupt the story you just have to think slightly harder while you’re watching which i suppose is a major cinematic sin in 2021.

  his voice takes you out of it because he does the voice perfectly and it sounds so much like a parody. maybe it’s a metaphor.

  i mean honestly it was cute but it’s the same story that’s been made into a movie a million times and really you need to be unsuspecting of the twist in order to enjoy it or else you’re just thinking “it seems early in the movie for her to realize she’s in love with the guy who was played by paul rudd in clueless, isn’t it?” looked like a box of macarons and the main girl has a face like a fable. maybe i’m being too harsh, it was pleasant overall.
