Shows how much a banger soundtrack can carry a movie. The dated CG really hurts this movie but when it actually uses practical effects it is amazing. This really pushed all the right buttons for me and is surprisingly effective when it focuses on being a slow burn/ambient flick. I've never played the game so I feel like I might have enjoyed it way more than people just looking for fan service. This would have easily been a 10/10 if…

Two good ideas in the entire movie and both come at the end of the movie. Everyone hyped this movie up for the lesbian vampire which only became a character trait for like 40 seconds of the run time. Just bog standard 70s shlop that would almost be a good movie if every aspect of the production wasn't so terrible. Actual waste of time watching this movie. I've seen better vampire content on Sesame Street.

Overall this was a very strong sequel. I didn't believe the hype but this series has definitely proven itself and has earned the title of being the trailblazer for modern sci-fi. It is an overall improvement to the first movie, especially in the action department with the movie mostly getting rid of that stupid plot armor shield device (I know it was in the books it just doesn't translate well in movie form) and making it more gun/explosion/big set piece…

The A plot was straight-up Italian softcore porn. Every now and again the movie would become interesting and then just go back to softcore for 5 minutes. The B plot with the detectives was actually pretty compelling and really the only reason I gave this more than a half star. Italian giallo flicks really aren't my thing but if someone put a gun to my head and forced me to watch one it would probably be this one.
