I just have nothing to say about this the Letterboxd bros will like because it really wasn’t for me at all but I’ll say some things anyway. I felt bludgeoned in the head by this preposterous (and obviously quite impressive!) film. I kept an open mind and followed the plot - but not because I understood anything anyone was saying. Wait…This is still so funny? And possibly more fun to rewatch in 2025 than when I saw it at the movies in 2008! Anna Faris has been way more foundational to my sense of humour than I give her credit for. So am I blinkered by millennial nostalgia or is there way more comedic subtlety here than Letterboxd’s paltry 2.9 average gives it credit for? It has so many non-sequitur-ish details that kill me like, apart from everything Faris brings…
