rather disappointing
pattison is amazing — he plays the distinctions between Mickey 17 and 18 so incredibly well — facial expressions, mannerisms, vocal tone … it’s all so opposite
however, this plot point (multiples! consciousness! personhood and individuality!) falls to the wayside when confronted with the alien creatures coined “creepers” by the heavy-handed leader, marshall (played by ruffalo). there could’ve been so much explored with that concept! imo, it suffered the same flaw as 2017 film Shrinking with Matt Damon:…
