  Unsure how this film won the Palme d’Or. This is such an empty, soulless, trite film that says very little.
  A film about annoying, selfish people using each other. A film where an entitled man purchases access to a woman and women are just sexual objects, to be used and disposed of.

  “Why wouldn’t you have raped me?”
  “Because I’m not a rapist”
  “Nope, cause you’re a f*ggot ass b*tch”
  Like you really have to think, what is the message…

  I don’t think it’s legal to sleep with someone under a false identity. It’s definitely not ethical.
  This didn’t feel like a Linklater film imo. It felt like a standard, shallow Netflix film. The closest we get to his style are the brief philosophical discussions, which are pretty simplistic.
  Felt incredibly vapid at times. The characters were under developed. The only reason he gave this woman an out is because he found her attractive, but he didn’t grant anyone else the same grace.
  The ending was anticlimactic. I don’t find Glen Powell a particularly interesting or charismatic actor. His Patrick Batemate impression was okay tho
