  oof.

  my understanding of the story was as follows:

  better to have lived, loved, and lost than never to have lived or loved all. but also, much better to live, love, and not lose.

  this hit me like clay puppington’s speech about sacrifice.

  hey look, it’s my life but where it doesn’t end badly!

  all jokes aside, this felt like a thriller in terms of how anxiety-inducing it was. I did not enjoy this movie.

  I don’t have anything good to say about it. It wasn’t funny, thought-provoking, artistically impressive, entertaining, or creative in any way, and it was much longer than it should have been. I don’t understand how they managed to fumble so badly with such a high-powered cast. Money Heist does this same premise so, so much better. I think it’s criminal how this movie has managed to draw comparisons to Heat and Oceans 11.
