purposely awkward but done badly so it ends up just being really cliche. there were moments where i actually had to look away and a lot of the line deliveries felt like they had read the script for the first time right before filming the scene. please don’t try to get sydney sweeney to say “bro” in a natural way cuz it does not work. all that said, will this probably become a guilty pleasure film in the future? yeah probably leave me alone, how good the movie actually is has nothing to do with the experience.
