  ... Nah the husband and the governess were doing way too much, I'm siding with the wife. I wouldn't have written her a letter of recommendation either (even though it probably would've been for the best)

  Beauty and the Beast 2014

  This film was visually stunning, but its biggest flaw was that I never believed these two characters truly fell in love. Why did the Beast love her? Just because she was beautiful? And when did Belle realize she loved him? Was it when he tackled her on the ice and tried to kiss her? Or when she discovered he accidentally killed his wife? The Beast also had no character development; by the end, he still seemed like a jerk. Overall, this film left a lot to be desired.

  I loved that this film explored all aspects of Marie Antoinettes life from being a young teenage queen, to mother, to a prisoner in her own country. The end is very heart breaking but this film is totally worth it, and not just another pretty costume film. Norma Shearer is perfect in this role as the tragic Queen.
