Memento 2000
This movie was a wild one. The plot was fairly confusing for a while, and the cinematography was definitely not the norm. The overall premise of the movie was very interesting, as was the way the movie was filmed in the backwards manner. However, the ending left a lot to be desired. It felt very anticlimactic and was very unsatisfactory.

Interstellar 2014
Can’t believe it’s taken me this long to watch this movie. I’ve heard so much, and my dad and I finally got around to watching it. First half was pretty slow, and I wasn’t very impressed. Second half was much more captivating, and while it hurt my brain, it was very enjoyable. Hand zimmers composition was extremely beneficial in the immersion to a scene, and the movie had me guessing the whole way through. It took several videos afterwards to really understand what was going on, which shows the complexity of the writing.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse 2023
Animation was beautiful, as usual. Writing got me emotional and teary on several instances. The variation of art styles throughout the movie was super interesting, and yet they all felt like they blended into one unique style.

Oppenheimer 2023
Amazing. Nothing short of breathtaking. The array of brilliant actors putting their best into their performances did not go unnoticed. The whole film, while a little slow, was exciting, kept my attention, and had me invested through the whole thing. The effects were spot on, and the fact that the nuclear explosion was real only makes it more impressive. The soundtrack was incredible, and made me FEEL the movie while I watched it. Christopher Nolan did not disappoint.
