Being a 22-year-old and watching people in this movie imply that 22 is old and you should have your life together and be independent by then is crazy.
Imagine watching this and being like, “Um, why does it seem like she wants it? Look at how she’s acting,” as if this wasn’t written and filmed from the gaze of the pedophile. It’s called an unreliable narrator, dipshit!!!
I also think it’s annoying when people just talk about how disgusting the movie is, because that’s the whole point.
I saw a review that said they would love to see a woman direct Lolita and I agree.
I consumed this media against my will. I hate action movies. I hate Tom Cruise. Glen Powell doesn’t look real. He literally looks like a spray-tanned robot.
